Dolen Teifi Community Transport operate a fleet of 16 seater accessible minibuses across Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and North Pembrokeshire. All of the vehicles are driven by a dedicated team of trained volunteers, helping people access healthcare appointments, shopping, social activities and other essential journeys.
The 16 seater accessible minibuses are available to hire for just £1.80 per mile, making them an affordable option for community groups, charities and organisations.
Dolen Teifi Community Transport have also partnered with Age Cymru Dyfed to deliver the “On the Go” project. As part of this initiative, they have ten 5 seater accessible vehicles based in and around the ten main towns across Carmarthenshire. These vehicles are available to hire at a cost of 58p per mile, providing an affordable transport option for individuals and community groups.
In addition, Dolen Teifi Community Transport currently offer free community transport training, including MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) training and volunteer driver assessments, to support organisations and individuals wishing to become volunteer drivers.
