Pembrokeshire’s Community Connectors can put you in touch with people, groups and activities that are right for you and your family. The service is free and there are Connectors covering the whole of the County.
The Community Connector project has grown from a successful 2016-18 pilot project and now operates across Pembrokeshire. The project aims to connect people from all over Pembrokeshire to services and activities that they might enjoy and find useful.
Pembrokeshire’s Community Connectors are a team of 6 people who operate in North, South, East and West Pembrokeshire. They work in a team with some specialists – they have a Connector who specialises in working with children, young people and families and a Connector who is focused on supporting people with dementia and their families.
Community Connectors service starts with the individual – finding out what they like and what they are interested in; then, it’s about seeing if there is anything they need – maybe information about a group or, maybe a referral to another service.
