Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is extra money to help you with everyday life if you’ve an illness, disability or mental health condition.
There are two parts called components:
- The daily living component, and
- The mobility component.
You may qualify for one or both of them.
PIP is replacing Disability Living Allowance (DLA) for people aged 16 – pension age.
