Carmarthenshire Therapy Dogs have recently been lucky in being awarded funding to purchase some more automated cats for their PetBot project. These cats have proved very successful with people living with dementia and are available for anyone to refer to the organisation.
The cats are free of charge and although they always stay the property of Carmarthenshire Therapy Dogs, can be kept by the recipient for as long as they like, when no longer needed they can be returned for cleaning and then re-homed.
Referrals can be a self-referral from family or carers or health and social care professionals. The referral form can be found at the bottom of this page.
