Carers Week is a national campaign held annually to raise awareness of caring, and to recognise the invaluable contribution of unpaid carers and the challenges they often face.

The theme for Carers Week 2025 is โ€œCaring About Equality,โ€ highlighting the importance of ensuring that all carers have equal access to support, recognition, and opportunities. Itโ€™s a powerful reminder that no carer should be left behind, and that creating a fairer, more inclusive society starts with valuing and uplifting those who care for others.

Many people do not immediately identify as carers, yet they provide crucial day-to-day support to family members or friends. Carers Week encourages them to acknowledge their role and access the support available to them.
