HAHAV is a volunteer-led charity providing free support to people across Ceredigion who are living with an incurable or life-limiting illness.
Their aim is to help you live your life to the full during the precious time you have left and to support your family and friends with the challenges they face now and in the future.

HAHAV offer a free bereavment service for adults aged 18 years and over, across Ceredigion. Their trained counsellors and volunteers can offer support in person, over the telephone or on online. This can be in Welsh or English, whichever language you are more comfortable with.
They also run a grief companion service, where clients can be seen in their homes. HAHAV companions can help clients deal with practical tasks such as sorting through clothing or personal possessions. They can also help clients rebuild confidence by attending clubs and local events as well as signposting clients to finance and legal services, to help with paperwork and administration.
Anticipatory Grief
HAHAV also support people who may be grieving before a loss. We can help you understand feelings around anticipatory grief, anger, fear, anxiousness and guilt. Help is available both for people facing their own deaths or those who are supporting someone who is dying.
