Cariad Pet Therapy is an award winning, not-for-profit Community Interest Company with our head office based in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. We were established in September 2018.
At Cariad Pet Therapy they provide therapy dog wellness visits with 65 volunteers and their therapy dogs across west and south Wales to hospital wards, care homes, mental ill-health units, primary and secondary schools and to people socially isolated and lonely in their own homes, or are lacking the confidence to go back out into the community post restrictions.
The service also provides therapy dog employee wellness visits to Amazon in Swansea, Swindon, Dunfermline and Bathgate, as well as to the staff at the Welsh Ambulance Service Trusts across Wales. Cariad Pet Therapy also supports students at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David campuses, and to Bridgend and Pencoed Colleges.
