Carers Week is a national campaign held annually to raise awareness of caring, and to recognise the invaluable contribution of unpaid carers and the challenges they often face.
Carers Week 2026 will take place from Monday 8 to Sunday 14 June.
This June, thousands of individuals and organisations across the UK will come together to raise the profile of caring, highlight the challenges faced by unpaid carers, and recognise the vital contribution they make to families and communities.
Many people do not immediately identify as carers, yet they provide crucial day-to-day support to family members or friends. Carers Week encourages them to acknowledge their role and access the support available to them.
