This Autumn, unpaid carers will be welcomed in to Westgate Creative Hwb for a series of free art-based wellbeing workshops supported by the Time Out For Carers fund.
If you care for a friend or loved one and would like a short break from your caring role, come and try your hand at a range of creative activities, lovingly led by artist Angie James. Each workshop will cover something different, including watercolour cards, lino cutting and printed wrapping paper, handmade paper tags with wildflower seeds and needle felting.
No experience or artistic skill is required, just come along and immerse yourself in a gentle and mindful process among other people who understand the challenges of caring.
The workshops are free with all materials provided.

West Gate Gallery and Coffee Shop is opposite Pembroke Castle, a big blue building with a large arched gateway next to it. The workshops will be hosted in a cottage in the courtyard behind the shop, but please do come to the shop first and the staff will show you where to go if it is your first session.
The Long Entry Pay and Display car park is next door to West Gate.
