The event has the following key objectives:
- To ensure unpaid carers are aware of the support services available to them.
- To showcase the value of volunteers and encourage providers to make greater use of, and investment in, volunteering within their organisations.
- To encourage organisations and invited dignitaries to sign up to the LD Charter with clear SMART objectives.
