Carers Trust Crossroads West Wales are pleased to launch their enhanced Money Matters service for unpaid carers in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire.
The aim of the Money Matters service is to improve carer wellbeing through income maximisation and alleviating financial pressures. Their small dedicated team will support carers by offering a range of tailored support which includes:
- Holistic financial wellbeing checks
- Welfare benefit checks, advice and completion of benefit application forms
- Income maximisation and accessing grants, discounts and concessions
- A range of resources, financial information and factsheets
- A range of informal workshops on topics such as improving budgeting skills, digital financial literacy, etc.
