Museums Inspiring Memories is a 3-year partnership project between Amgueddfa Cymru and Alzheimer’s Society Cymru, looking at how Amgueddfa Cymru’s museums and collections can be used to benefit the health and wellbeing of those affected by dementia.
What is the event?
This is one in a series of events, at which the project hopes to gather ideas and experiences to shape the work of the project. Come along to hear more about the project, and to help shape the creation of:
- a Dementia Voice in Heritage Group to help steer and shape the project and create new activities for our museums
- a dementia awareness training package for heritage sector staff
- a training session for carers / care sector staff in using museum resources with those that they care for

- With conversations looking at the barriers to accessing and engaging with the sites and collections, an experience of visiting or accessing those would be useful
